    Terms of Use

    These Terms of Use govern your use of Sky Map: Stars & Planets ("Sky Map," "the app"), published by Horus Teknoloji ve Dijital Hizmetler A.Ş. ("Horus Studios," "we," "us"). By downloading or using the app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Sky Map.

    License

    We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Sky Map on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with the App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the app, its star catalogs, artwork, or content, or use it to build a competing product or dataset.

    Sky Map Plus Subscription

    • Sky Map Plus unlocks unlimited guided finding, satellite pass alerts, the AR sky view, offline maps, and Nova, your AI astronomer.
    • It is offered as an auto-renewing monthly or annual subscription. A free trial may be available on the annual plan.
    • Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
    • Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the then-current price.
    • You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
    • If a free trial is offered and you subscribe to a paid plan before it ends, the unused portion of the trial is forfeited.
    • Prices may vary by region and may change; we will not increase your price without notice and, where required, your consent.

    Accuracy & Safety Disclaimer

    Sky Map provides astronomical predictions computed from published orbital elements, catalogs, and weather data. Accuracy depends on your device sensors, compass calibration, location accuracy, atmospheric conditions, and the freshness of satellite orbital data. Sky Map is intended for educational and recreational stargazing. It is not a navigation instrument and must not be relied upon for navigation, aviation, maritime, surveying, scientific, or any safety-critical purpose.

    Observing means being outdoors, often at night and in the dark. You are responsible for your own safety: watch your surroundings, do not use the app while driving or walking in traffic, respect private property and local rules, and never point optical equipment at the Sun without certified solar filters.

    Nova & AI-Generated Answers

    Nova generates responses automatically and may occasionally be incomplete or incorrect. Treat its answers as informational guidance, not authoritative fact. Do not enter personal, sensitive, or confidential information into Nova. Do not use Nova to generate unlawful, harmful, or abusive content.

    Your Content

    Observation journal entries, photos, notes, and saved targets you create remain yours and are stored on your device. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups; we cannot recover content lost through device failure, app deletion, or loss of a device.

    Acceptable Use

    • Do not attempt to bypass subscription controls or access paid features without a valid subscription.
    • Do not scrape, bulk-extract, or automate requests against the app or its data services.
    • Do not interfere with the app's operation or the experience of other users.

    Third-Party Services

    Sky Map relies on third-party services for payments, subscription management, weather data, AI responses, and crash diagnostics. Their availability and accuracy are outside our control, and their own terms apply to their services.

    Changes to the App

    We may add, change, or discontinue features to improve Sky Map or to comply with platform or legal requirements. If we discontinue a paid feature during your active subscription period, we will offer a reasonable remedy.

    Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

    Sky Map is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Horus Studios is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing here limits rights that cannot be waived under your local consumer law.

    Termination

    These terms remain in effect while you use Sky Map. You may end them at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend access if these terms are materially breached.

    Governing Law

    These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules in your country of residence.
