    Antique Collect — Privacy Policy

    Last updated: 5 October 2026

Antique Collect is an antique and collectible identification and appraisal app made by Horus Studios (Horus Teknoloji ve Dijital Hizmetler A.Ş.). This policy explains, in plain language, what the app does with your information.

The short version: Antique Collect has no account and asks for no name, email or phone number. The app identifies you by an anonymous device session. The photographs you scan are sent to our server to be identified and are stored with the resulting report so you can open it again. Purchases are handled by Apple and our subscription provider.

    What we collect

    • Object photographs. When you scan a piece, the photo (and the optional close-up of a mark or signature) is uploaded to our server, where an AI model identifies the object and writes the appraisal report. The photos and the report are stored under your anonymous session so your collection can be restored after a reinstall.
    • An anonymous session identifier. On first launch the app creates a random user ID with our backend provider (Supabase). It is not linked to your name, email, phone number, Apple ID or advertising identifier. It is stored in your device's keychain.
    • Purchase information. When you buy an appraisal or an Antique Collect Pro subscription, Apple processes the payment. Our subscription provider (Adapty) tells our server which product was bought so the report can be unlocked. We never see your payment card or bank details.
    • Questions you ask the AI assistant about a piece you have unlocked, together with the assistant's answers, so the conversation can be shown again.
    • Your display currency and locale, to show values in the currency you chose.

    What we do not collect

    • No name, email address, phone number, contacts, or location.
    • No advertising identifier (IDFA); the app never shows the tracking permission prompt.
    • No analytics SDKs, no third-party advertising, no data brokers.
    • Nothing from your photo library except the single photo you choose to scan.

    How the data is used

Only to run the app: identifying objects, producing and storing reports, unlocking what you paid for, answering your questions about a piece, and restoring your collection on reinstall. We do not sell data, share it for advertising, or use it to track you across other apps or websites.

    Service providers

    • Supabase — backend hosting, database and file storage (EU region).
    • EachLabs — the AI models that identify objects and answer questions. Photos and report text are sent to the model for processing and are not used to train it by us.
    • Adapty — subscription and purchase management. Receives your anonymous session ID and purchase events from Apple.
    • Apple — App Store purchases and subscriptions, under Apple's own terms.
    • frankfurter.app — daily currency exchange rates (no personal data is sent).

    What stays on your device

Your collection (items, notes, albums, purchase prices you enter, favourites) is stored on your iPhone and included in your device backup. Reports are also kept on our server under your anonymous session so they can be restored.

    Retention and deletion

Scans, reports, chat history and photos are kept until you delete them. In Profile → Delete all my data the app removes everything on the device and asks the server to delete every scan, photo, report and credit record tied to your session. Purchase records held by Apple and Adapty are governed by their policies. Deleting the app alone leaves the server copy in place; use the in-app deletion first if you want it gone.

    Children

Antique Collect is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.

    Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored with access controls that allow only our server functions to read it. No system is perfectly secure; we keep the amount of data we hold to the minimum the app needs.

    Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your data. Because we hold no contact details, the in-app deletion is the most direct way to exercise them. For anything else, write to support@horusstudios.com and include the anonymous session ID shown in Profile so we can find your records.

    Changes

We will post any changes here and update the date at the top. Material changes will be announced in the app.
